As time goes by our skin structure changes. Endogenous and exogenous factors are the cause of skin aging that manifests in the first visible signs such as loss of volume, firmness and brightness. The progressive degradation of elastin and collagen leads to deep and visible wrinkles, sagging skin and hyperpigmentation. In order to prevent and combat aging signs, Dermastir has created a range of products with exfoliating action to stimulate cell renewal, reduce spots and boost the collagen production.

EPIDERMIS: The cells are detached slowly, leading to the appearance of dull and opaque skin.

DERMA: Skin metabolism slows down, affecting the ability to produce new cells.

SEBACEOUS GLANDS: Sebum production slows down with age, leading to more dry and rough skin.

ELASTIN: As time goes by, the elastin production declines, causing disorganization of skin tissue and the decrease in firmness and ability of the skin to return to its initial position.

COLLAGEN: When the collagen breaks down and its natural production declines, the skin structure is compromised and tends to form the first wrinkles.
